"Best of the Best" as of Dec.30th 2009 : GCh.Avatars Try Try Again Print E-mail

2009 was a great year for Kim and Ty. Ty is awarded Best Dog in Canada for 2009. In 2008 he made history with becoming the first bernese to end in the top ten in group 3 (7th place). This year he accomplished way more! He is the number 1 in group 3 and on top of that he is the number 1 of all breeds! It was an extremely competitive year. 6 dogs got more then 10000 points (in 2008 only one dog earned more then 10000 points). For more detail, check the website of best dog in Canada

2009 statistics for Canada:

33 Best in Shows (all breed shows)

1 Best in Show Specialty

6 Reserve Best in Shows (all breed shows)

Group placements: 78 group 1st, 16 group 2nd , 7 group 3rd and 4 group 4th

Besides this Ty went on a few trips to the USA in 2009. It started with winning the breed at Westminster over 35 champions. Ty got 2 Best in Shows (all breed shows) and was awarded Best in Show Specialty at four different regional specialties in the States.

Needless to say that 2009 was an awesome year and we will cherish the memories for the rest of our lives.

We wish everyone all the best for 2010!

Best dog in Canada What a great weekend we had in Woodstock! Ty started on Friday with a group first. Saturday he won his 16th Best in Show in 2009 it also made him the number one dog in Canada! On Sunday he did it again and won his 17th BIS so instead of chasing the other dogs in the overall ranking of Best Dog In Canada he now has to defend his leading position! We will keep you updated.
